Invitation

The California Welfare Fraud Investigators Association (CWFIA) would like to invite your company to take part in our upcoming annual training conference. Our conference draws Welfare Fraud and Medi-Cal Investigators from most of the 58 counties in California, along with attendees from State organizations within Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Hawaii, and Guam. These enforcement officers investigate fraud and abuse in the CalWORKs, Cal Fresh (formerly known as Food Stamps), General Assistance, Medi-Cal, Child Care, County Medical Services Program (CMSP), In-Home Supportive Services Program (IHSS), Check Forgeries, and Housing Authority Programs.

The goals of our conferences are to give investigators and managers training in fraud trends, eligibility rules, officer safety issues, simulated firearm use-of-force drills, case studies, and many other topics. Our conference is unique because it is approved by the State of California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) for training accreditation for our law enforcement officers attending.

There will be plenty of opportunity to have attendees talk with representatives from companies and organizations about their products and services. This is an exciting opportunity for your company to network with buyers of your products and systems. This year we are excited to offer our vendors excellent exhibit hall hours, a vendor listing within the registration packet and vendor donated prizes to be given away at the main banquet for attendees.
